Our Facilities
Heartbeat is a partnership formed by fourteen clinical perfusionists who are specialized in extra-corporeal circulation - and bloodmanagement techniques. We perform our main activities in five different hospitals in the Netherlands: The St. Antonius Hospital in Nieuwegein, the Haga Hospital in Den Haag, the University Hospital Utrecht, the Wilhelmina Children's Hospital, both in Utrecht and The Netherlands Cancer Institute in Amsterdam. Besides the hospitals we also have the ability to perform activities like research in the Animal Laboratory of the University of Utrecht.
